Each rooms represent a natural element: Water, Fire, Earth, Air, and is customized with color themed items: blue for the room Water, red for the room Fire, brown / gold for the room Earth and green water for the room Air.
The Water and Earth rooms also have a comfortable sofa bed
Every rooms have private bathroom with shower, hairdryer, LCD TV and heat/air conditioning.

Adults min 25 – max 40 euro/per person
(includes Bed and Breakfast service);
Children 0-3 years are free, children 4-8 years pay 15 euro;
The third and the fourth adult in the room pay 20 euro.
Check-in 2 pm, unless immediately available; Check-out at 10 am

Great place to stay and visit Puglia
This is a great place to stay if you are planning to go and explore beautiful towns and seaside in Puglia. Place is very nice and peaceful, room was very clean and hosts are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was homemade with local ingredients. Our daughter enjoyed running around and playing in the garden. We would definitely recommend Ape Rossa to our friends and family!
Great B&B in Puglia
Immaculate B & B with your own private entrance. Value for money, nice setting a 10 minute walk from the centre of Catellana. The breakfast is typical Italian selection of fruits, yogurts, home made pastries and coffee made according to your preference. The hosts are so helpful and friendly. A bowl of cherries and sweets appeared in our room each day, a nice touch. We will be back soon.
Friendly welcome in lovely rooms
Various family members stayed for a nearby wedding, including during an earlier planning trip, and all of us found the welcome to be outstanding with the owners unable to do enough for us. The rooms were all beautiful, cool despite the outside heat, and fabulously clean. I would absolutely recommend Ape Rosse to anyone else visiting the area.
Nothing is too much trouble!
My wife and I plus other members of our family, have twice stayed in this wonderful B&B. Both times we were warmly welcomed and helped with our arrangements by both Piero and Giustina the owners and often on-site all round managers. The rooms are large and airy with lovely garden views and there is plenty of space to sit outside in sun or shade to enjoy your appetisers or the baskets of seasonal fruits frequently offered - mmm-those cherries, also a fridge for guests' use. Castellana has no taxis but no problem - Piero picked us up personally at the railway station, he assured our anxious car hire company that we were indeed there. There were perfect soft-boiled eggs for breakfast,We have so many great memories of our stays and hope to return in the near future. Thanks for everything.
An oasis outside of the town center
We came with bicycles on our South Italy Tour. And have been heartly wellcomed, enjoyed the nicely restored rooms and appreciated the view into the beautiful garden. Absolute quiet place where it is worth to stay more than one night.

THE STRUCTURE
The structure, an old and small farm dating from 1920, was recent renovations and we have maintained the original structure.
We have 4 double bedrooms with typical stone walls, every room is accessed through a corridor, in view of the trapdoor of winery.
The breakfast room and reception, separated from the rooms, have the characteristic barrel vault and the original flooring of “chianche”.
Outside you can enjoy a mostly sunny garden to relax, surrounded by “dry” stone walls, olive secular trees, almond trees, cherry trees, prickly pears, lemons and colorful flowers … so immersed in a typical Apulian landscape portrait!

Breakfast is a rich buffet for breakfast; therefore available cookies, biscuits, cakes, jams and organic honey, yogurt, cereal, juice, coffee & cappuccino and freshly picked fruit in season!
On advanced request, it is possible to enhance the buffet with a savory product for an international breakfast.
Guests may choose to eat in the Breakfast Room or in the front garden.
The breakfast room is open from 8.30 am to 10 am
Please be sure to advise us of food allergies at the time of booking, to ensure better service and avoid unpleasant situations.

The coast and the surroundings hides an abundance of places to visit. Outside of the high season, they lose none of their charm, indeed can be enjoyed with confidence.
Coastal views, heavenly beaches, charming medieval towns and historic testimonies wrapped in an aura of legend await the visitor in the course of his journey.
